About this project
You might be curious about what Web3Bridge is. Web3Bridge is a program that was launched in 2019 to train and support Web3 developers in Africa, with the goal of building a sustainable Web3 economy.
It offers a 16-week hands-on bootcamp, both onsite and remote, teaching skills like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React for Web2 beginners and intermediates, also Solidity and Rust for Web3 blockchain development. I was fortunate enough to be chosen as an on-site participant for Web3Bridge Cohort X blockchain development. This was a fantastic chance for me.
Following weeks of getting to know one another and and understanding our work and procedures, I was chosen to be part of a five-person team consisting of three front-end and two back-end developers to expedite the development of the Official Web3Bridge website.
The program also hosts events like the Web3 Lagos Conference to onboard and inspire blockchain innovators. Web3Bridge aims to foster a Web3 community in Africa by supporting developers and startups, often in collaboration with organizations like LiskHQ and ArbitrumDAO.
